How Races Work
Getting Started
When you first create your character, you'll receive a random Race V1 through the start menu. Each race grants unique passive abilities that remain active throughout your adventure. Once you reach Level 2200, you'll gain access to a special questline that lets you evolve your race into its stronger V2 version.
Why Upgrade to V2
Once you reach Level 2200, completing the Race V2 questline should become one of your top priorities. The improved stats and unique abilities make the upgrade well worth the time, helping you tackle tougher bosses, stronger enemies, and more challenging end-game content.
Choosing Your Race
Each race has different strengths depending on your preferred playstyle. Although every race has its own advantages, your best choice depends on whether you focus on PvE, PvP, exploration, or overall survivability.

How to Unlock Race V2
Race V2 Evolution
Unlock Process
To evolve any race into its V2 version, you must first reach Level 2200. After meeting the level requirement, visit the Race Engineer NPC and complete the Race V2 questline. The same questline can be repeated if you switch to another race and want to unlock its V2 upgrade as well.
